Boost Sales during Product Launch
See how entrepreneur and digital creator, Kelsey Chapman, used Surf Analytics to increase sales of her most recent book.
About Kelsey Chapman
Kelsey Chapman is a creative entrepreneur, marketer, and author who has amassed a following of thousands of like-minded individuals looking to network themselves and their ideas. Her most recent publication, “What They Taught Me” advocates for the importance of female empowerment and women's mentorship.
Problem: Finding advocates within her audience
Leading up to her book launch Kelsey put together a thoughtful and detailed marketing strategy which included a desire to connect with social followers that aligned with her personal brand to help ‘get her message out to the world’ via unique and targeted audiences.
Solution: Using filter and sort functions to identify potential advocates
By Surf Analytics Kelsey was able to segment her own social audience by using the ‘bio keyword”, “engagement rate”, “number of followers” filters. She was then able to sort her new segmented list by “most valuable”. In doing so, Kelsey was able to save hours of painstaking manual labor and identify a list of 700 highly-valued followers which she then personally connected with to help review and promote her book to their own unique audiences.
Result
Surf Analytics helped Kelsey increase her reach 3x leading to a significant boost in sales and a successful book launch.
Future plans
As she prepares for her book tour Kelsey plans on leveraging the “location” filter tool within Surf Analytics to identify followers in specific regions. She can then engage with those followers, invite them to the local book launch and ask them to promote the launch event via their own social channels.
“I could shout about Surf Analytics from the rooftops. There’s no need to wait. Whether you have 10 or 400 followers, Surf Analytics saves you time and money to get the heart of your audience.” - Kelsey Chapman
