Why can I not create an account(s) on Surf?
There are a few reasons why you are unable to create an account on Surf, or, your existing Surf account may have been deleted, you are unable to earn points, or are prevented from creating a new account(s).
Surf has recently taken supplementary security measures to flag accounts that may be high risk, fraudulent, or botting with several accounts with our new email, phone, and IP restrictions.
New email, phone number, and IP restrictions are being implemented to allow or deny access based on the phone number, email, and/or IP address of the user attempting to connect. This is a useful tool for protecting Surf and our users — preventing high-risk/fraudulent users from unauthorized access or malicious activity.
As you may or may not know, Surf is currently available in the United States, Canada, France, Spain, Ireland, Germany and the United Kingdom.
As our team works to expand Surf to expand to new regions, we understand that it may be limited to new and incoming users from other regions/countries. We are working down our waitlist for new supported regions to bring onto our extensions and ensure our software can support a larger user base.
What Will Happen If My Account Is Flagged?
If your account is flagged, you will be directed to learn more information as to why your intended action has been restricted.
How Can I Get In Touch With Surf About This?
User feedback is really important to us and is at the centre of all our key decisions, so we appreciate your comments and for letting us know your feedback — it is valuable for our team. If you have any comments and concerns regarding email, phone, and IP restrictions at any time, or, you believe your account has been inaccurately flagged, feel free to leave us a note at lossprevention@joinsurf.com.
We are more than willing to support your questions and concerns and/or take in your suggestions. We hope you can continue to get value out of our experience at Surf, along with our amazing rewards.
